Awia sanitary ware is joint venture operation between Kinakontakten AB Sweden, Badrumscompaniet AB Sweden and Spadk Aps Denmark. Awia is the result of a long surge to develope a combination of stylish Scandinavian design and high level performing equipment. Japanese have known and used water tempreture and massage for centuries for improving health and relieving stress. The Jacuzzi brothers first introduce this combination intstalled in private homes some 40 years ago. Awia has developed the ideal product line for the demanding customers who wants top performance equipment and stylish designs. Awia is assembled of parts introduced by Kinakontakten and tested for quality by authorised European institutes. Awia is produced in China on production lines set up by Toyota and supervised by Kinakontakten, this production set up allows us to offer the out most competitive prices available only though kinakontakten.

Kinakontakten will attend the China cycle show 2008 in Shanghai the coming weekend. We will research and discuss details with 2 new spare parts suppliers. All bicycle and electrical bicycle related companies in China and surroundings will show case their new developed products. We are looking very much forward to attend this fair and we are very confident that we will be able to offer a new mountain bike after the fair. A mountain bike that is lighter and stronger with a pedal assisted system that enables the bike to cover distances up to 80km on one charge.    

LEVs Light Electric Vehicles will be the new hot product in Europe. None polluting smart, handy vehicles that allows users quick and handy transportation. Electric bikes allows users to smoothly cover long distances without arriving sweaty and out of breath.

The big European manufactures advertise this product like never before and sends out new designs like never before. China the land of bicycles have already seen a boom in the LEV industry and the manufacturing market is jungle without comparison.

Manufactures are hundreds and difficult to analyze quality wise because of the complicated even bigger jungle of manufactures who delivers parts to be assembled into these LEVs. The difference between a good quality LEV and a bad quality LEV begins already with the small pars that is used for assembling to tires, wheels, frame, battery, engine and accessories like disc brake and derailleur. As mentioned in earlier web news Kinakontakten have spent a year sourcing the right manufacturer here in China who can deliver quality standard that would satisfy buyers in all European countries.

We have checked and tested parts of many LEVs are very sure we now represent a China manufactured European quality standard electric bike. Kinakontakten has been appointed exclusive agents for 3 new e bikes manufactured by Guewer and will be responsible for sales of these. We will upload pictures and specifications of the bikes in the coming days.

The office:

Sikko and Jelmer have traveled to Holland to meet core customers and discuss purchase plans for 2008. They will be in Holland for 3 months so should any customers wish to arrange meetings with the two they are both available on their emails and their Dutch mobile phones.

We are happy to inform all customers that we will receive new staff from Holland the coming week. Tim and Peter will in the future be part of our Shanghai office.

Motors and vehicles:

Many European countries requires a motorized vehicle to have a ECC max speed 30km/h certificate to able to register a vehicle as a mopped and not a motorbike. Our motorized vehicle manufacturer have the ECC max speed 30km/h certificate for one of their many vehicles. We also offer a wide range of scooters with the ECC max 45km/h certificate. The first shipment of ECC certified max speed 30km/h are on their way to Europe.

Kinakontakten started producing and purchasing e bikes in the early months of 2007, China has an enormous manufacturing market for these products so we attended both the spring Guangzhou fair and the Autumn Guangzhou fair to analyze product quality and discuss manufacturing efficiency with manufacturers.

Now the first month of 2008 we have signed cooperation agreement with what we believe is the best manufacturer in China and the first orders are in production.

Textiles:

Kinakontakten have this month exported 300 000pc of textiles. We have produced big volume shipments of high quality men’s and women’s seamless underwear and business socks for the European market. We have also finished spring summer collections for fashion brands like the Swedish Cicatriz, the collection will be uploaded soon on www.cicatriz.se.

Sanitary ware is still on of our strongest commodities. We shipped a total of 5pc 40” HQ containers out in January.
